We have several new additions in our classroom this week! Everyone in our classroom now has a new brother or sister. A pumpkin brother or sister, that is! Each child chose a pumpkin on Friday, decided if their pumpkin would be a brother or sister and then gave their pumpkin a face, hair, ears and some pumpkins even have accessories. Each child will name their new sibling and decide on the best Halloween costume for their pumpkin. The pumpkin brothers and sisters will be a part of our classroom all week. Everyone will read to their new sibling during Reader's Workshop, and teach them how to count during Math Workshop. It is going to be so much fun teaching our pumpkin brothers and sisters this week!
